I have started collecting t shirts to make for survivors and fundraising. Could any of you tell me how to get more shirts. I don't want to pay much since I am going to cut them up. Home email. rhb@gci.net. I live in Alaska so I can pay for shipping also.

Mistake made in my fundraising efforts

I think I have been doing fundraising wrong for 3 years now and just found out. I bought the ornaments to sell and was planning on taking the cost out of the profits to pay me back, found out you are not suppose to do that. So I guess I just made a really nice donation to Relay.

Hope no one else has done this if it is wrong, but I know I have done it in the past years and didn't know.

A Good Reward for Relay Raising $500,000???

The Mid-South division has pegged our Relay to be a All Star Relay meaning our goal is to get up to $500,000.

Here is what I am looking for. I am looking for an incentive I can offer my teams and committee if we get up to the $500,000 mark for the 2009 Relay season.

I had thought about having my head shaved at the Relay. But, I sort of like my hair. So, I am leary about that one.

I've thought about letting them dye my hair purple. However, due to where I work, I don't know how that would work out.

do any of you have any ideas?

Help our team of Newsome High School students participate in Relay for Life and help our communtiy this year. For those of you who have done the "flocking" fundraiser with the plastic yard ornaments, where do you go to buy them? I'll get flamingos if that is all I can find, but my team really wanted to do something more unique like grinches for the holidays.

Letter writing from your dog or child

I just saw/heard this on one of the videos on the site to write your fundraisng letter from your child or dog to send out to people asking for a donation. Has any one ever done this? If you knew me you would understand that it would be very much like me to write the letter as if my dog were doing the writing. Last year I put a photo of me running in a breast cancer 5K, and then on my thank you notes a photo of me at relay. But if my dog writes this letter I am thinking of putting a photo of her licking me and putting the logo of Lick Cancer!

So what do you think?
