Have you heard this song?

It is too late for our Relay but maybe someone else can use it.

Why Do I Relay?

Why Do I Relay?

Help please!!!

Hello everyone. My name is Maricruz Ruvalcaba. I will be participating in a new Relay. On past years my city had been apart of South East Cities Relay. Recently, however, my city has been pulled away from that Relay and had been given its own Relay. I have done Relay in the past 2 years, but have never been part of any committee. This year I decided to work with my city and become the Fight Back Chairperson because no one else wanted to volunteer. I really want to help  out and make this a good event. The problem is that I am not sure what the Fight Back Committe's job is. If anyone can please help me out and give me some advice or pointers I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

Awesome Fight Back T-shirt

Hi - Here in Fauquier County, VA we have been celebrating different portions of the Relay through producing custom t-shirts.  Last year we designed and sold our Caregiver shirts, which were a huge success and really made our Caregivers feel special.  This year we have designed our Purple Army t-shirt, which incorperates the fight back mantra!  It is a very cool shirt and is available for purchase on www.fauquierrelay.com (click on purple army shirt on left boarder).  T-shirts come in unisex cut size M-2XL (limited large quantities available), women's cut S-2XL (SOLD OUT OF Women's XL), and youth large.  Shirts are sold for a suggested $15.00 donation, plus

CPS-3 Study: A Way to Fight Back!!!!

Hello Relayers!

I am a proud 13 year Relay For Life Volunteer from team Kiss Away Cancer, NJ. I'm a caretaker & have WAY too many reasons to Relay. Obviously, fundraising is very important - but, there are other ways for family members, friends & caretakers to FIGHT BACK against this horrible disease.  My personal "mission" for 2009 is to spread the word regarding ACS Cancer Prevention Study CPS-3. You will be hearing more from me once "Relay Season" is in full swing - but in the meantime, please go to www.cancer.org - click on the links for CPS-3 to learn how easy it is for ALL to help in the fight against cancer.

FIGHT BACK CEREMONY

Since relay season is now here, what are you doing for the "fight back" ceremony?  We're having our all chair meeting in a couple of weeks and I was looking for ideas.

Looking for participants!

Hello,

My name is Jessica Hodgkiss and I am a student @ RIT. I am on our ROTARACT committee and we are putting on Relay for Life this year. I am head of the survivorship board and we are looking for people who have battled cancer who would like to participate ion the event! We want to get people involved and have there stories heard! I hope it is not rude to put this up on this site, but I thought it would be good way to get the word out there and were excited for people to join us as we try to reach our goals for the event! I hope someone happens to read this and is interested. You can email me at jqh3726@rit.edu. Look forward to talking to you!
