Ok, I think I know what is going on, I just can't easily explain it. I CAN, however, walk you through the posting. Follow these steps.
Enter whatever text you want in the post that will contain the video.
Select "Preview".
Make sure that the text is as you want it.
Scroll down until you see the editing window.
Select the purple 'disable rich-text' link found directly under the editing window. Your text will look strange, with a lot of odd characters such as <p> and <a> etc., and all formatting will seem to disappear. Don't worry about it, it should show up fine when it posts.
Enter the video code either above or below the text you already entered.
Select "Submit".
Do NOT select preview again. Even though the video will appear in the preview, for some reason it will not post. I think it has something to do with the fact that the rich text option turns back on after you preview the post and it wipes out the code. Not sure, however.
Okay...so we didn't have time to adjust to the last hoop skirts for 2 of our polyp outfits so they are a little....awkward...but here is our Talent offering for 2008!
I created a video very much like this one back in 2006 when we actually did this hike but tonight when I was playing around with iMovie I decided I wanted to redo it. And so here it is, in all it's glory, to be used to help inspire people around here (and remind myself) that there are a whole lot more fundraising ideas than just making the ask (although that is a very important tool!).
On April 22nd, the San Ramon City Council proclaimed May 1st 'May Day For Relay' and encouraged everyone to Paint Our Town Purple and to Relay with us on June 28th-29th.
This year, Relay For Life of San Ramon in CA will be sharing our Relay with Relay For Lifeof Bury, Manchester in the UK. We are "Twinning", as they call it - sharing our Relays with each other via the Internet on the day-of, but also sharing ideas and planning together ahead of time. And to kick things off, their Event Chair and his family came over on Holiday to meet us! We were thrilled to meet them and this is the start of our journey as we Relay Around the World!
