Celebrate..remember..fight back campsite ideas. let's hear them!I have thought about making a theme wall at our campsite. A panel with stories about surviving for CELEBRATE, remembering those who we have lost from cancer for REMEMBER, and those currently fighting cancer for FIGHT BACK. Anyone have ideas for what they may do this year with their team campsites??? MelissaM – December 29, 2007 – 4:57pm

The 3am and later stretchHello Everyone,
Im excited to see so many interesting suggestions on ideas that people do at their Relays. A lot of these I want to pass onto my Entertainment Chair and have her put some into motion. My quesiton for you all is this, we are a college relay and normally we have lots of energy going into about 1am (after our Mrs. Relay Pagnant) Afterwards, we tend to lose a lot of participation. I was wondering what activities you all do to keep people going that late at night and on the track until 7 and 8am?

International PicturesHey all!!! I am an ACS Staff Partner in PA, one of my colleges (Bucknell University) is having an international cities theme for this years Relay. I was curious if anyone from any of our international RFLs would have pictures that we could possibly use, the students would really like to highlight our international Relays since it ties in so nicely with their theme. Let me know !!! For A Cure, Lindsay Martin Community Income Development Specialist North Central Region - PA LMMartin – December 6, 2007 – 1:45pm

Paying for EntertainmentIn order to make money one has to spend money. How do you guys get bands if they won't entertain for free? Can I have a specific fundraiser to pay for the band? mzdoor – October 21, 2007 – 4:30pm

Different Team IdeasAll the teams in our relay all have there own theme and decorate their camp following their theme. It makes it fun to see what other teams do and how they do it. The teams also bring different types of music to play during the walk so that everybody can enjoy it. One team actually had a band play for us. It was really fun. krystalj16 – October 17, 2007 – 11:36pm

TwinningHi guys & girls. i am the new chair of the Relay for Life in Bury, Manchester UK and i am loooking to twin our relay with a relay in the USA. Our relay is going into its 3rd year and is growing rapidly, we have set our dates for the 28th & 29th June 2008 for next year's event and would dearly love to set up a live video link with our beloved cousins in the USA as you are the home of the spiritual home of the relay. Through the use of modern technology we can join in and participate in each other's ceremonies, i thought this would be a really cool way of joining hands across the pond and helping to raise awareness. I look forward to hearing from any interested parties. :0) andyg – September 21, 2007 – 2:52pm

New to Chairing Activities...Hi Everyone!!!! I am new to Activities and well, new to RFL. I volunteered last year to help out with the information booth and wanted to volunteer more time this year for 2008's RFL. I am just trying to see if anyone has any great ideas for Activities during the Event... I have been trying to come up with some ideas myself but curious to see what everyone enjoyed at previous RFL Events. Thanks! Jo jojobee – September 14, 2007 – 6:56pm
