Relay For Life Theme

One of my events has decided on a "Survivor" theme for their Relay...such as Survivor Gabon etc.. Has anyone ever had a Relay themed like this? If so, I'd love to hear your ideas.

Scheduling help!

Hello, Relayers-

After a few years of avid team-membering and fundraising I decided to step up to the Activities and Entertainment committee, but I am having trouble scheduling events.  I don't lack entertainment, but I lack the means or methods of organizing the entertainment/activities on to a spreadsheet or something like it.

Does anyone have a template or past schedule that I can use for guidance?
It's important that I keep everthing organized on one spreadsheet, and my superiours would rather I use Excel to create the schedule, but I am pretty incompetent with the program.

Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I know there is three-four months left before my relay, but it feels like crunch time already.

80's Theme

Well I am new to the Entertainment Chair this year, and our Theme for Relay is the 80's.  I am wondering if anybody could throw some ideas out here for me to get the a little idea of some games and things that I could possibly tweak or use.  Thanks soo much!!

Logos from Relay shirts over the years

I am looking for the logos used on the t-shirts. I really don't know how long there have been t-shirts representing Relay, but would like as many as I can get. Does anyone know how I would go about getting them?

Thanks,

New to Entertainment/Activities Chair

Hello everyone. My husband and I have taken on the task of Entertainment/Activities Chair for the first time for the 2009 relay season. We are fairly new to RFL. We were part of a team last year. It was the first year for our local relay so it wasnt huge. We are looking for any thoughts or ideas that anyone would be willing to share with us on activities and entertainment to make our second year a much larger event that will attract more people and touch on all age groups.

Thank you for any advice that you can give. We are very excited to be taking this on, but of course it is a little frightning for a first timer.

soo lost...

This is my 1st year as a team captain and i am terrified. I have a family team dedicated to the memory of my mom and my brother.    Our theme for 2009 is a western theme. I have some ideas as to what kinds of things to use for decorations, but im not sure of anything else.  im afraid that my team is just saying they will be my team rather than getting out there and actually helping with the fundraising.

if you could give me any advice on ANYTHING please do!!! thanks

Relay Idol

Does anyone know what Relay Idol is? It sounds like American Idol, so maybe we are singing...that sounds like fun :) I for one love singing. So can anyone tell me if that's what it is? Thanx much!
