I'm sure this is a simple question with a simple answer; however, I have searched for it for a couple of months now...literally.  I feel silly even to ask; but, here goes!  I have corporate sponsors who are also teams.  I've entered them as sponsors and linked their respective team accordingly; yet I'm unable to get these funds to reflect on the team's webpage.  How do I make this happen and still reflect these organizations as sponsors?  I'm one who reads and researches questions before asking them.  This one continues to stump me!

I am new to the sponsorship committee for my relay and I am in need of ideas for recruiting and keeping sponsors.  So far my plan is to go knocking on doors and personally introduce myself, then make a calls next month, go hand out daffodils during daffodil days, and after our relay event I want to have survivor thank you notes given out to the sponsors. 

I'm looking for something to do to pump them up closer to the actual event.  And something to keep them involved during the "off time"

The biggest challengie with sponsorship is that most companies have submitted their 2009 budget by Nov-Dec and it is usually too late by the time we appraoch these business. We usually have our offical Kick off in January; so let's get them early......

 I would like to ask that all our committee members help out with this iniative; even if it is just a few phone calls or emails. Getting the word out that there is a Relay downtown will be great.
