I am going to be approaching local business in person about being involved in Relay For Life and would love to see some sample scripts if anyone has one!

Would like to talk about displaying Relay info in their business, becoming a Corporate Sponsor, and Forming Teams.

I am putting together a FAQ for Corporate Sponsorship for Teams/Team Captains.  I would love input from everyone on what should be on the list.

How do I say " Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back. in Spanish?

We have two event co-sponsors who we buy gifts for and I was wondering if anyone has any idea for gifts?  The budget is $100 but I would like to spend less.  We are not sure whether they even keep the gifts at the businesses or if someone brings them home since we don't see them when we go there so I don't want to spend a lot of money on something for one person to take home.   Last year we gave them little plants.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any good sponsorship letters?  I have been using the same one for a couple years and wanted to switch it up!  Thanks!

I'm extremely new to Relay, and before I create a team [involving many people from Newfane, NY] i had a question. It might end up having an obvious answer, however i was wondering, Do you just choose a sponsor when you create the team? [There is a list of choices, pretty much] or do i find one of the choices to sponser us? [P.S Is there a Cost?]

Ok Relay friends, I am trying to write a formal report to my employer suggesting that they become a national team. Where do I get the facts I need for this? Help me convince them that they will profit too.  Thanks  Jen

I have read through the other forum topics and did not really see an answer to the one question I have.  "What should I say to potential corporate sponsors?"  How do I open up the conversation?

Wayne County, NC has a unique way of having Corporate Sponsors. In 2006 we raised $636,252.00 and had 491 Corporate Sponsors.

The way we have so many Corporate Sponsors is really simple. We have 5 levels of sponsorship. Bronze $300 -$499, Silver $500 - $999, Gold $1000 - $2499, Purple $2500 - $4999, and Premier $5000+. With all these different levels we have all types of groups of people as Corporate Sponsors, from individuals, school classes to Sunday School classes, Churches, Civic Groups, Volunteer Fire Departments, Medical facilities and Doctors, to very large companies.
