The 2009 Contest is over, but keep taking those pictures for the 2010 RelayForLife.org Photo Contest.

   1. This contest is open to U.S. residents age 18 or older.

   2. Photos cannot be owned by professional photographers.

   3. All photos must meet PG-13-rating standards.

   4. Photos must be uploaded by May 24, 2009.

   6. Photos must be in one of the following formats: .jpg, .gif, .png.

   7. After posting your photo, you grant the American Cancer Society permission to use the photo for internal and external promotion of Relay For Life in multi-media formats.

The top 3 photos will be featured in the 2010 Relay For Life Calendar.

The winning photo(s) will be featured on RelayForLife.org.

Winning photo(s) may also be featured at National Relay For Life meetings and summits.

Photos will be judged by a panel of American Cancer Society staff and volunteers from across the United States. Everyone will have the opportunity to vote on the winner from a selected group of finalists. Some things we will be looking for include:

 
    * Needs to be obvious that it is related to Relay For Life
    * Clarity, resolution
    * Shows Action (not staged)
    * Does your photo capture the essence of Relay?
