1. Are you sure you registered on RelayForLife.org AND your local event website?

Perhaps you registered for your local Relay For Life event. Each Relay For Life event has its own website that looks similar to RelayForLife.org. It can be easy to confuse the two sites.

A good way to tell which site you're on is that your local event's website has fundraising totals, your own "participant center," team pages, and information specific to your event.

RelayForLife.org is an online community for volunteers from around the world to share stories, ideas, and information. It's a place for you to access valuable resources to help improve your Relay For Life event.

If you're trying to log on to your local event's website (for fundraising, team registration, donations, etc.) - click here to find your event.

Our advice - if you're going to register on both sites, use the same username and password so you don't have more to remember.

2. Check Your Junk Mail

When you register for RelayForLife.org, a password should be sent to your email inbox. If you never received that email, it may have gone to your spam folder/junk mail.

3. Are you an AOL or Comcast User?

Currently, AOL and Comcast block the password emails sent from RelayForLife.org. Try adding RelayForLife@cancer.org to your address book and trusted sites. You can also contact AOL or Comcast to ask them to please allow these emails.

We are currently working with AOL and Comcast to resolve this issue.

If you still cannot get your password, contact us.

4. Did you register via scannable form (offline)?

Sometimes, if you register on paper, your information is sometimes entered onto your website...generating a username and password for you. Your local committee or staff partner should be able to provide you with that information. Click here to find your local office.

5. Clear your Cache

Most Browser Caching issues will relate to the browser showing the user out-of-date information. These will often crop up when users use their back button a lot on the site, and will affect people who visit the site regularly more than people who visit once a month. To clear browser cache in: FireFox: - Go to Tools > Options - Go to the "Privacy" section - In the Private Data section, click the "Settings" button and make sure Cache is checked - click OK - In the Private Data section, click the "Clear Now" button Internet Explorer: - Go to Tools > Internet Options - In the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click "Delete Files"

Be warned that clearing cache in either browse may take several minutes, during which time your computer may appear to freeze or the browser may appear to stop responding / lock up. Please be patient and allow this process to finish. If you continue to experience problems after clearing cache, completely quitting the browser (close all open windows, regardless of what site is open in that window), then reopen the browser. This will clear session data, which often seems like a caching issue.
