Last year we had a relay webiste that teams/participants could go to and we would post all of the updates for the event, training session dates and times, etc., however, the lady who had the website has since left Relay. I would appreciate it greatly if someone could give me a bit of advice or suggestions on how to go about setting up my own Relay For Life webpage or website. I really don't want to use myspace.com so if anyone has other ideas, please respond. I would greatly appreciate it!
Our team coordinator uses a site that has free hosting. Unfortunately, I don't know the name but you can email her at relayteam2007@yahoo.com and ask her. Her name is Cassy.

I rent space from akmai.net
I rent space from akmai.net for hosting - $100.00 a year. Domain name from Godaddy.com 19.00 a year. Then get yourself some software - IE: Adobe Dreamweaver or NetObjects Fusion - which I have both, or at akmai in the control panel, if offers some tools to make a website without the needing to buy it. Joomla is available within the control panel = www.joomla.com for ideas.
I wrote a book below but deleted it... got offtopic with poster. Feel free to email me for further help: djtdesigns (at) gmail (dot) com
