I love the luminaria ceremony that we used last year, it is emotional and inspirational and it was my favorite part of the whole event, but I am part of it and I helped put it together. But I want to do more. We are doing a survivor wall of hands and having them sign a rocking chair to auction off but I want to do something for those lost. At first I was just going to do a big picture wall, then I thought maybe a quilt with a piece for each person, like they have for people lost to AIDS, and then my team is doing a picture sheet where they are iron ons so it will be less stress if it rains. So I was wondering, what do you all think?

Its great to honor those lost. Wish we had enough committee people to even know who they are! Also alot of Relays dont think much about those who have lost their loved ones so anything you do is great for them. If you had enough of them - kind of a horrible thought - maybe a separate lap for them - but i would think it would need to be a serious, quiet lap.
