Hi,

I'm part of the organising committee for a relay in England. I'm sorting out the candle of hope ceremony ( i think to you its the Luminaria Ceremony). Anyway, I would rally like to add an international feel to our relay and would love to hear from anyone whose relay is around the same time as ours (June 16/17). We could swap messages or poems etc..

international Relay

Hi- The Sussex-Menomonee Falls Relay For Life event takes place June 20th & 21st 2008 in Wisconsin, United States. We have a new team this year, which is our High School's Cultural Exchange Club. We are looking for an international Relay to partner with. Granted we are not the same weekend, but we could make something work. We were orginally thinking a web cam or having something that we could pass (mail) back and fourth between Relay's for years to come. Please let me know your thoughts and I can get you in touch with our Cultural Exchange Club.

Relay

Lucy - our event is in Roanoke, Virginia - June 15/16 - and we would love to share info/stories/etc.  Where are you in England?  I travel there yearly on business and have often wondered if events are going on there too.

This is my first Relay and I was a co-chair for Survivor Dinner/ Gifts.  I have from two Relay committe members how wonderful the Freehold Relay is!  Your Relay is like a well oiled machine. 

We had a few mishaps with our dinner and I wondered if you might have a few suggestions, or maybe put me in touch with the Survivor Dinner Chair?

luminaria organizer in Indiana

I am part of the committee for a small county in Indiana this is my 2nd year to do the luminaria.  Our relay is June 1&2.  I don't claim to be an expert but would be glad to swap ideas and such with you.
