I have the fortunate opportunity to be the Event Chair for the 2010 Relay for Life of Jackson County Carbondale. I had reservations about taking this on, but I feel I have overcome those. This is going to be a wonderful experience and I can't wait to get started. Our first committee meeting is September 02 and I am really pleased with the committee members we already have on board. I had the pleasure of working with some of them this year as the Co-Chair. They are a wondrful group of people dedicated to an awesome cause. I am trying not let myself become too overwhelmed by what is ahead. I know I can do it. I need to do it. In a way, I need to prove to myself that I can do it. Well, that's enough for now I guess.
