Hi,
I attended the Springfield, Ma summit in November 2008 and they presented a HOPE ceremony that moved me. I would like to re-create this at my Relay. I have been hunting for this for several months, with no success. I am now pressed for time,as my event is in 16 days. Any info would be greatly appreciated. It is the ceremony where 4 cancer survivors spoke individually and invited the participants to light their glow sticks. Then we all joined in and sang "This Little Light Of Mine", with words related to CANCER. I did find the words but cannot find the actual song, with those words and the also the script that was read by the survivors. Please help.
Thanks,
Chris, Relay For Life of Greater Fall River

Hi, Chris:
Our summit last year had a "HOPE" ceremony also. You can find our powerpoint presentation and script here on relayforlife.org by doing the following:
Click on "Local Resources & Information" icon located on the left hand side of the page.
Click on any one of the yellow states.
Click on "High Plains Division Summit September 2008" on the right hand side of the page.
Scroll down to the General Session section. Here you will find the powerpoint presentation and the script.
I hope this helps. It has been a while since I looked at the presentation. I do not know if there are points for our division referenced in the presentation.
Another route you can go is to ask your ACS Staff partner.
Thanks.
Nicole.
