I was wondering what the role of the Community Relationship Manager was to the relay. How involved should they be? Should they let the committee mak decisions or do they have a say also?
Thanks
Marco

marco112,
assume you are posting these questions for a reason... There isn't one "canned" answer on how this works. Generally, you hope for a "win-win" on something like Relay For Life. We are all there to find a cure. ACS RFL Staff are there to help guide the planning of the event, educate volunteers on standards and best practices, offer their opinions on what is likely to be the most successful approach to a question/problem, and play a role as a core partner on the event. That being said, some events have a multi-year track record of being volunteer-run and staff partners will play varying roles as a result.
What are the specific questions/issues you are running into - can you share more detail?
