Hello,

I am looking for ideas of small inexpensive gift to give team captains that will motivate them. I have heard about the box of raisins that had a card saying Thanks for Raisin money or the lifesaver that say thanks for being a life saver.

Does anyone have any other awesome ideas like that?

Thanks

Sandy

List of Inexpensive Thank You GIfts

Here are a few ideas:

o Tape Measure - “Your worth to Relay For Life is Immeasurable” labels on tape measures
o 100 Grand Candy Bars - Get 100 Grand Candy Bars and label the back as “Thanks For Being Our “Big Bucks” Volunteer!”
o Lifesavers - Attach a card that says “Thanks For Being a Lifesaver” to a roll of Lifesavers
o Small Flashlight - Attach a card that says “Thanks For Lighting Our Way To A Cure” to a small flashlight – you can get these at a Dollar Store or in bulk on line.
o Small photo albums, and label them “Memories of Our Quest For A Cure” – people can put their Relay photos in these albums
o Box of Raisins - Attach a card that says “Thanks For Raisin’ Money” to a box of raisins
o Votive Candles - Get little glass votives with candles in them – label the glass votive “Thanks For Lighting Our Way to A Cure”
o Gold Chocolate Coins – get a little baggie for each volunteer, and tag it “You Are Worth Your Weight In Gold!”
o Recognition clocks - with a plaque or label that says “Thanks for Donating Your Time To Relay!”
o Personal Thank You Card from a Cancer Survivor – this can be a a thousand times more meaningful than anything else of monetary value!
o Framed 8x10 Picture from a child who has cancer – Have a child draw a thank you picture who is battling cancer. Help the child address it to the volunteer, and sign it, then frame it with an inexpensive stock frame from Wal*Mart or Target… You can probably do this for $1-2!
o Hershey’s Hugs and Kisses For Your Volunteering Kindness - Attach a special message to it
o Thank You Cards – Get a packet of thank you cards from the ACS store and write them out personally

Hope this helps!
