Job Descriptions and Commitment Sheets
|
I am about to head into a wrap up meeting and am looking for some good Relay team assessment tools as well as Relay committee chair descriptions and re-commitment sheets.
We've got a mix of long-standing committee members and new ones and I'd like to cultivate the new ones and encourage the "seasoned" ones to create succession plans.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Deb

Tools from the Strategic Conference
Deb,
Were you able to attend the Strategic Conference in L.A.? I assume so, since you've already found your way here, but you know what they say about assuming.... :)
The handouts in the first breakout, "Taking the "N" out of DNG Part I were fantastic for event evaluation, showing each committee where their strengths and weaknesses are, and then giving us tools to formulate a plan based on the results of those evaluations.
If you'd like a soft copy, let me know and I'll be happy to send them to you!
For recommitment, you could use the Partnership Agreement, but I'd like to know if there is another tool out there, too!
Good luck in your wrap up!!

Taking N out of DNG, Part 1
Hi BJ I know its been a year since you posted this, but would it be possible to get a copy of it? This was my first year with RFL and I was part of the Survivor Committee. We are having our wrap up party next week. The Chair and the ACS Chair are leaving us! Yikes! We are scrambling to get organized and any tools that you deem worthy would be gratefully appreciated! Thank you. Lynn Ask your staff contact
Often all the tools are on a CD after the National Relay Conference is finished, and is mailed out to each office...
If you e-mail me, I can send you some similar tools or you can find them on line at http://www.acsrelay.org

Assessment tools for events, Committment tools
There are a few tools out there for ensuring committment... Here is one for team captains:
Team Captain Committment Card
Here is a past tool used in my region for assessing how an event went:
Relay Event Critique Form
