I'm About to Lose Control and I Think I like It - LIKE IT! 
 
Ok! OK! So they weren't singing about Relay but the lyrics hit my mood straight on. 
 
Our Relay hit the GRAND TOTAL of 130,000.00 USD today and we are SIXTY  days out from Relay.   EEEEEEKKKKKK!  See why I am singing?!  This is amazing.  And you should see our teams working it!  They are fundraising in ways you never would have thought possible and still legal *giggling.  They are making each other bald, throwing carnivals, training dogs to be cute, throwing people in jail and making them really wait for the bail - it is WILD and WONDERFUL! 
 
And the support they give each other is so exciting to witness.  Now, we do compete for top fundraising team, along for many other awards so there is some competition happening, but it's not the main focus of the teams.  The focus is to raise money to fight cancer and (and THEY HAVE RAISED $130,000.00 USD. WHOOHOOO! And did I mention we aren't even halfway yet? Anyway ..) and to bring awareness to all they touch; awareness that there is a way to support those touched by cancer, that there is a way to fight back, and that it is ONE WORLD.  We are in this together.

Everything will go right if

Everything will go right if each member of the group has a single advocacy. No personal motive. Everybody is thinking for the benefit of team. Joe Biden has made Dick Cheney look good.  Joe Biden has now achieved what was once thought to be impossible, by his leaking the location of the Biden bunker.  The Biden Bunker is the secure location that the Vice President goes to in the event of a terrorist attack or other disaster.  We now know the Biden Bunker is at the U.S. Naval Observatory. Many would give cash loans to get Joe Biden to clam up from now on.  He gave this all away at an appearance at the Gridiron Club.  (Was an open bar a factor?)  Perhaps Joe Biden could get some lessons on restraint with the help of a cash loan.
