I was talking to a friend the other day that is always in my peripheral vision but never in the direct line of sight.  Wonderful person; friendly, compassionate, always has time to listen but a non-Relayer who at the start of relay had  stepped in, without a word, and shouldered my responsibilities in a project.  Great person!  We  had reached a point in the conversation where I was thanking them for taking on my responsibilities and expressing my Relay created reasons for not doing them myself, when I said "I am so sorry you don't Relay ... " My mild mannered friend turned on me, jumped square in my face and announced, "I DO RELAY FOR LIFE!".  I know my confusion showed as I stood rapidly shuffling mental notes, looking for the team or committee my friend was on - nothing!  I stood there wordless. “DARN IT!” I thought.  My friend was hard working but obviously very confused - I was positive they didn't Relay and was now searching for the right words to point that out and not hurt feelings.'

My friend continued "I Relay by stepping up here!"

*blink* I sat there.

There are truly so many different ways to Relay.  *smiling*

I am such a goob at times.
