Corporate Sponsorship money.  WOW!  Gotta have it!  It makes the totals of your Relay reach those astronomical numbers that many of us only dream of reaching.  And those numbers make your Relay standout and gain recognition, recognition that one wants their Relay volunteers, their teams, their committee members to receive because  they deserve it!  Boy, they deserve it and so much more. 
 
But how does one get that corporate sponsorship money? Send a form letter requesting placement on a budget at the beginning of the year?  Walk into the home office and ask to talk to a VP?  Send an email to a friend, who has a friend, who knows a guy, who parks the CEO's car?  How does one get that corporate sponsorship money?  How?
 
Relay is under 70 days away and our Corporate Sponsorship Committee has tried their best.  We have one Corporate Sponsor and one Business Sponsor.  That's it. It's not enough.  So we are turning to our Teams for help, the people in the trenches to reach out, to step up to the plate, and go for the big money - but how do they go about it?  Where do they start?  And can it even be done in just under 70 days?  Sure hope so!  Because these teams, these relay volunteers, this planning committee deserves to reach those astronomical numbers to support their commitment to fight cancer for their loved ones and for themselves.
