
Relay For Life® National Corporate Team Program Advertisement to Appear in the Wall Street Journal
On Monday, February 26, 2007, an advertisement appeared in the Wall Street Journal thanking the companies that participated in the 2006 Relay For Life National Corporate Team Program and announcing those companies that will participate in 2007. In 2006, 28 companies participated in the program, raising a total of $12 million to support the fight against cancer. In 2007, 33 companies will join this effort. The Relay For Life National Corporate Team Program is a program designed to recognize, support and develop corporate involvement in Relay For Life nationwide. A company qualifies for the program when it has more than 50 teams in two or more states in one calendar year, raises more than $100,000, designates a volunteer leader to track results, distributes materials, and motivates its teams through company channels.
