If you visit the baker's website at www.bakerella.com and search for cupcake pops, you'll find step by step instructions. Basically, you bake a 9x13" red velvet cake, let it cool. Crumble it very finely or place in a food processor. Mix in 1 can of cream cheese frosting. Roll into 1" balls and cool in the fridge. Roll balls into cylinder shapes and press the bottoms into a small flower shaped cookie cutter (specific cutters are shown in the instructions). Shape the top of the 'cupcake' and chill again. Dip in melted chocolate (one color for the bottom, then put on the stick, then dip in another color for the top), decorate. Wrap and SELL!
Getting the supplies is a little pricey, but the cost of the cake is cheap. I spent about $45 at Michaels over the weekend to buy the supplies, including special melting bowls that keep the chocolate melts warm longer. Each cake mix is supposed to make 50 pops, so after your first round, selling for $1 you should break even.
