I am the Online Chair for the Relay for Life at Western Carolina University.  I send weekly e-mails about our event, and I always receive the test messages at my e-mail address before I actually send the messages.  However, I am not receiving the actual e-mails (after my review).

I'm also not receiving Relay e-mails sent by my Committee members here at my university.  My ACS staff partner isn't sure why this is, and I don't know, either.  I'd like to stay up-to-date on all e-mails being sent at my university, so I'd appreciate any advice.

Thank you.

Russell C.

Email receipt

Russell, first a suggestion - Log in to your Event and click on the Change Profile link.  In the second section, make sure "Accept Email" is set to "Yes". You may have inadvertently opted out when you registered.

Next, some speculation - It could be that the test email, which is sent directly from Convio to your email address, is making it past the University's firewall and spam filters, but the broadcast emails are being rejected.

You may need to subscribe to a free email service such a gmail, Yahoo or whatever and retrieve the Relay emails by logging on to the service's Web email server, avoiding a download through your ISP or University network.

Try these ideas and re-post any progress or lack of it...
