I thought this would be easy but it's not. This is my first time putting together a team for the Relay for Life. My team consists of myself, 2 cousins, 1 best friend and 1 mother-in-law - all females. My Mom has stage 4 lung cancer and I've also lost an Aunt and Uncle (Moms siblings) to the same cancer. Because we've all experienced losses for cancer, we decided to not name our team after my Mom and just focus on cancer as a whole. Does anyone have any team name ideas for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Team Names
Hi Angie...
I had the same thoughts about naming my team! I am a survivor just trying to say I've been cancer free (or remission) since 2007 and it hasn't happened yet, but that aside, I know what you are saying!
With my history and the fact that my mom is a cancer survivor and most of my team members have been touched by cancer in some form I didn't want to make it about me, my mom or any other individual (Gina's Hope just wasn't it for me).
I sent out an email to all those saying they were going to help me form a team this year and asked for their ideas. I met a lot of "you should name it" but I assured them I would - I just wanted their ideas...
The #1 suggestion in nearly all the ideas had to do with hope... We had "Relay for Hope", "Praying for Hope", "Hope's Reality", "Walking for a Cure", "Taking Strides" and a few more... After all was said and done I chose to combine a couple of them and so "Strides of Hope" was born. We are having T's made showing walking legs... as everyday I make one more stride to my hope of saying I am in remission.
Ask for help, maybe you to will find inspiration from their ideas.

team name ideas
hi last year was my 1st year to walk as a tc survivor and just had me and my mom and dad who where the caregivers but our church was also there which is southmac church of christ and the team name was jo's team one of our members who was named jo basset died of breast cancer the year after is when we made the team jo's team and if any 1 died of cancer we added to the list so we just went with jo's team for all who died of cancer so you could possibly make the team from family members that died or survivors that are living hope this helped good luck!
