Hello!

 

We are doing a "Superhero and Comic Book" theme this year for our Relay. The slogan will be, "Saving the world, one cure at a time." We were thinking each individual team could choose a superhero and go off of that.

Any ideas for activities or entertainment related to the theme?

Any ideas at all?

we did this at my relay last

we did this at my relay last year

that was fun

we had giant posters of spider man and the hulk and

tapped them to the tents

on the team i was on a bunch of us dressed up as super heros

i was wonder woman

Super Hero Race To Save

Hi!  I love this idea of Superhero Event with your slogan!  Great idea!

I think I would have a "race" to save the "damsel" with each team providing a a super hero (in costume) to come to the rescue.  maybe use a doll or poster image in distress (train track, tied up...sort of thing) and provide a rescue.  The fastest wins, or maybe the most creative rescue wins.  Or, maybe it has to be made up superhero related to cancer and the rescue is getting the patient to treatment.  Anyway, sounds like a fun idea for an event theme.

Superheros

My company had that as a theme last year and instead of the superhero that you would normally think of, they went with collages of photos of cancer survivors on their team and within the Relay, team members conducting fundraisers and more... The main focus on each collage was a different survivor with a cape, etc... on in a superhero pose... The campsite was amazing. Especially during the luminaria ceremony!!!

Superheroes

 We are doing "Superheroes" theme too, and don't yet have it all figured out, but I am planning on using the slogan

  "You too, can be a Superhero and fight cancer!"

And I plan to emcee in my supercool Superman costume!
