We are doing a Happy Birthday Relay! theme in June 2009. If anyone has any related items, I'd love to make a swap! Especially if anyone out there has some of those outdoor plastic Christmas candles that are about 3" hight or so, I thought those would be awesome with our theme if I painted the stems in bright colors so they looked more birthday than Christmas.
My email is unicole@yahoo.com
Thanks a bunch!

When I am planning parties for my kids, I use CelebrateExpress.com. They have all sorts of party themes and the supplies to go with each one. We are also doing the birthday party theme at our event in May as well. So far we have ideas like pirates, princesses, and army men. I also ordered an inflatable birthday cake from Oriental Trading Co. It's pretty cool. Good luck!
I have an inflatable birthday cake - really large. In fact, when inflated, it needs to be where you want it or have a pickup to carry it! It's probably close to 6' tall and about 5' wide at the bottom.
I bought it for a Christmas parade float for my church (Happy Birthday Jesus theme). I took it to a service station run by members of my church to get it inflated. I drive a Honda Passport - and it wouldn't fit in once inflated. Very funny! Except for how to get it to the church to put it on the float! When in need - pray! Along came a man from my church, driving a pickup, and heading to the church! He delivered it for me.
I have the deflated cake stored at the church. I'll just have to locate it. Let me know!
