Hello, Relayers-

After a few years of avid team-membering and fundraising I decided to step up to the Activities and Entertainment committee, but I am having trouble scheduling events.  I don't lack entertainment, but I lack the means or methods of organizing the entertainment/activities on to a spreadsheet or something like it.

Does anyone have a template or past schedule that I can use for guidance?
It's important that I keep everthing organized on one spreadsheet, and my superiours would rather I use Excel to create the schedule, but I am pretty incompetent with the program.

Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I know there is three-four months left before my relay, but it feels like crunch time already.

Thanks

It's fairly simple to use and I could guide you through it if you'd like.

excel sheet schedule

I was new last year, and I sort of over did it when it comes to activities, but I had a schedule set up in Excel, that way I could shift activities around until I found the perfect spot for everything. It's fairly simple to use and I could guide you through it if you'd like.

I also set up activities and events by catagory/stations.

Track (things that effect everyone walking, such as themed laps and ceremonies)

DJ Booth (I had things such as Karaoke, song dedications/requests, and ceremonies since we used the mic from the DJ)

Stage (things like band performances or karate demonstrations - great for Fight Back)

Activities tent (things like table games and art contests)

Survivor Tent (things like survivor breakfast and "spa treatment" - massages, mani-pedis, etc)

Like I said, I overbooked last year, but if you still need help, or would like to see how I set up my spreadsheet just email me at LycoRogue@gmail.com.

I find that it helps to have

I find that it helps to have seperate categories for Children, Teen and Adult activities.  This way you have something happening for all of the age groups.  I usually set it up by 1 hour increments.
