When I registered for 2009, none of the 2008 information was set up - do we need to contact the help desk to get it all uploaded, or were we supposed to back up our lists from last year before the sites went down?

Last year's info

Shaun, two different answers because of two different contexts...

As a participant, make sure you registered via the "Returning participant?..." link near the top of the home page. Using the same username and password as you had last year will result in your contacts and personal page content being transfered. (Note for TCs: the team page content is not brought over.)

As an Event Manager, some data from FY08 should be available. Example: Coaching email lists. (By the way, this may vary by Division; my context is South Atlantic; you may need to validate what Midwest Division does.) Most data and content, though, does NOT come over. Customized page content, email Groups, uploaded images and documents. All is not lost, though. The FY08 sites have been inactivated, but they're still there. Use the long URL for last year's site and try to log in; the EMC access should still be there.
