I am wondering if there is a basic ACS letter that I can take to local companies to request their support.  I would love to get some places to donate gift cards and hopefully a hotel to donate two free nights to be raffled off at our 2009 Relay in North Will County.  I'm not seeing a link for anything like this - can someone out there help me?

Carolyn, click on the "Committee Chair Toolkit" image on the right nav. Scroll down the toolkit page to the Fundraising Development section and open the "Fundraising D Guidebook" (caution: it's a huge PDF). Starting at page 43 of the guidebook (page 49 of the file) are great ideas and some bullets you can lift into a letter.

You'll also notice in that section of the Committee Chair toolkit page a link to the Sponsorship Forum. You might want to browse through there for some ideas.
