Does anyone have any ideas where to get free samples such as sunscreen, lip balm, etc to giveway? We are trying to put together a Cancer Prevention Day and would like to give information and samples!
We always get sunblock from our local small business drug store, although they are not individual packages. We put the bottles in a basket and have a couple of kids walk around and ask people if they have put on sunblock recently.
I work for a doctor's office, and the drug reps give things away, check with your family doctor, see if they can help gather things together. Also, check with Walmart, ie other stores of this type and ask for the samples, they may even give you other give aways. They can only say no... Good luck.
We have had a great deal of luck in getting supplies through our regional ACS office. Most have a person who is in charge of Health Promotions. Contact your staff partner to find out who that might be.
Also, perhaps a letter to suncreeen or lip balm manufacturers might get you somewhere.
