 Hi -

I am a member of the Lamar, CO RFL Survivor Committee. For the last five years we have given our Survivors the typical purple RFL t-shirts. We are looking this year for a different option i.e., baseball shirts (our theme if Field of Dreams: If We Build it they Will Come), or long sleeved shirts. Has anyone, with any other Relay, been given other options for their Survivor shirts than just the regular purple t-shirt.

 Thanks!!! :0)

t-shirts

i think that you should go to a local store and buy purplet-shirts and then get white t-shirt paint and paint "i'm a survivor of cancer" on the back..that is what i am planning to do with my parents shirts because they are both cancer survivors! i hope this helps you. :)

Survivor Shirts

I'm co-chairing the Relay For Life of UC Davis this year and on the back of our Survivor shirts, we're having "I'm Living Proof" printed. Our survivors are living proof that we are beating this disease. It was a really cute idea and we saw it at another event. :)

Field of Dreams theme

Hi! I'm from Iowa near Dyersville - location of the real Field of Dreams (the actual set of the movie). Dyersville, Iowa will hold their Relay in August this year. Field of Dreams "stuff" is available throughout the area. Send me an email or post a message - happy to connect you with the Dyersville committee. They may be able to help you with ideas, materials, etc. with your theme.  BTW - the field is just incredible - still open for visits and folks can actually play baseball when it's open.

There are a few alternatives for recognizing survivors. Check out:
