Halloween cards for trick or treaters...
|
I blogged about this, too. Last year I had this cool idea to make little cards with information about Relay and pass out to trick or treaters with candy. My Relay committee used them and I know some other Relays did as well. So this year I did some planning and made cards that actually give some info about what Relay is. I list some programs and events that let people see where their dollars are going. If you're interested, they're uploaded here as a Word document. (I made them in Apple's Pages program.) Fundraiser Cards
We used your idea this past weekend but put a twist to it we are hosting a Spaghetti Dinner with Santa at the end of November and passed out cards with the Fundraiser information on it along with the Relay website address. We were able to hand out over 300 cards! Trick or Treat?
Bobby, thanks for sharing the information. I did something similar in my Christmas cards last year, but never thought about something for Halloween! I have printed some to put in the treat bags I'm passing out this year (no candy in mine!)! I hope the kids will pass them on to their parents. I'm posting the idea on my county's website - hoping others will do the same!

Hi- I love your idea and am taking it to our committee meeting tonight- but if it is okay with you - I am adding something to it. We don't get too many trick or treaters so I am going to put it in all of my Christmas cards and birthday(anniversary) cards for the year! Thank you so very much. Hi Pam!
So glad you liked the cards. I used them last year. They're not technically business card size, but they work.
Your idea is awesome!! I'm buying ACS Christmas cards and never even thought to put that note in with the cards. And now I will!!!
Last year I actually had a pumpkin on the cards I used. This year I didn't.
Glad you liked them and thanks for the holiday cards idea!!

I love this idea and wanted to do something similar to put in with my Christmas cards this year. However, I have tried numerous times to open the document and have been unsuccessful. Anyone have any advice as to what I need to do to open it. Or maybe someone can email it to me at: Thank you.
Holliday cards
WE used cards to pass out along a parade route in our community. We passed out candy to the kids and business size cards with Relay dates and Info to the adults along the parade route. We also had magnets with the same info made and put them in sponsor packets and in letters to Survivors. We had our printed using the 250 free cards you can get each month from vista print. You only have to pay the shipping.
