After performing the site initialization for the 2009 event, the main page of the site showed two login links. One of the links is the normal link that is suppose to be displayed on the page and the second link is a link that is connected to your account that you used to login to the site. Has anyone else had trouble with two logins showing up? Is there any solution to resolve this problem? Anytime that I have adjusted the new site, I have erased any additional statements that were left in the top box of the greeting page.
Sincerely,
Corey Ryan

Corey, I think you're refering to the large "Sign Up" icon that's next to the "Donate" icon and a second "Log In" icon that's just below those two on the home page.
The first "Sign Up" link should be used by a brand new participant who was NOT registered with your Event last year.
The second "Log In" icon is intended for participants who were registered with the Event last year. They'll go through the same registration steps, but by logging in with last year's username and password, the registration form will be pre-filled in (except for "My reason to Relay" question) and last year's customization of the personal Webpage (picture and any edited text AND email contacts) will carried forward to the 2009 site.
You've also discovered that only a portion of the home page is editable via the EMC. That's by design; the rest of the page is controlled by the Division blueprint for the Event sites.

Rick,
I understand the purpose of the second login link. The problem that I was seeing was that when I was in the EMC and was trying to make any edits to the editable areas of the home page it caused a second logout link to be created after saving. For the longest time after I completed the setup, anytime I accessed the page on any computer, it showed two options for login. One with the login link that you described above and a second link that says Welcome back funstar! If this is not you, please logout. Does that clarify what I was trying to describe?

Hi Rick -
Do you know if a solution was ever posted for this issue? I am just now getting into our website after maternity leave and inherited this issue. I have repeatedly erased the html code, saved it with it looking correct in preview, and then returned to the page only to find the two lines still there, "Welcome back, ****! If this is not you please log out. Welcome back, ****! If this is not you please log out."
Thanks for your assistance.
Kind regards, Claudia

AMENDMENT - It's MULTIPLYING! I just edited another section of the home page and now there are THREE instances of the logout phrase.
Amendment to the Amendment ;-) - Ok, I figured out how to fix it. I'm not sure how it appeared, but in wysiwig the space holder is the actual logout phrase. If you erase the legible phrase in wysiwig, not html, it goes away.
Got it.
I've been trying to recreate the scenario via my Event's EMC / WYSIWYG editor and haven't been able to do so. Will keep trying. You've likely stumbled onto something either in the HTML parser or possible in the WYSIWYG page rendering.
I'll keep trying to recreate. FSU's home page looks ok now, so if you recreate, grab a screen shot if you can and email it with particulars to sa.onlinefundraising@cancer.org.

Rick,
Thanks for looking into it. I just sent an e-mail to sa.onlinefundraising@cancer.org with the specifics. Do you want me to leave the specifics on the forum for you?
