A lot of the more recent luminaria pictures I have seen have bags with stars and or moons cut outof them, what is the trick to that?! They look too professional to be done by hand but I have never seen a puncher do holes that big!
ACS has gold bags with cut-out stars in inventory; our Staff partner procured them for us.
We used these gold bags for survivors who attended the reception and asked that they put their names on the bag when they checked in. Having these around the track with the other bags had a huge impact when folks realized each gold bag represented someone walking that first lap.
If you are looking for a cut out that is larger than you can find a punch, alot of your scrapbook stores have die cutting machines that will do the trick. There are also several smaller versions of the die cutting machines available at your local hobby stores that can make the shapes however, they can be pricey. We have several scrapbookers that participate in our Relay that already have the machines and will do the die cuts for us. You might check with your teams and see if one of them already has what you need to do this.
