I would appreciate any "seasonal" fundraising ideas.  My team has gotten stuck in a rut.  I was thinking if we could do a fundraiser geared to Easter or Mardi Gras it would be great.  Any ideas?  Please help!

THANKS!

Fundraiser candies is also a successful way

There are many ways for fundraising especially fundraiser candies. M&M fundraising candy boxes, creative thoughts, labeling, packaging, selling techniques, even lollipops, candy pizzas and fun-filled events, can all work as potential settings for successfully selling candy for fundraising purposes and a wide array of causes.

fundraiser

I work at a hospital and a cooking school, and my team is from my hospital. My team's first fundraiser is a gift wrapping party. All of our team members bring a few rolls of wrapping paper and ribbon. For a fee, people can have us wrap their Christmas presents while they enjoy food and wine. We are doing a fancy version at the cooking school where I work, and a more casual, less expensive version at the hospital for employees. The hospital version will have cider instead of wine and will be held in one of our auditoriums on three different dates and times to cover the various shifts. I am excited about it. When we mention it to people, they seem excited. Will let you know.

Fundraiser

Hi,

Go to www.homestylegourmetfoods.com It doesn't cost your team anything and you'll earn 50%

Spring Ideas

My team coordinates 2 spring fundraisers. We just held our 5th annual Home Based Business and Craft Show. Home based businesses (Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Watkins, ceramics, wood crafts, etc) are invited to come to this one day event. We keep the charge minimal so that they can cover their costs easily enough. We take care of the rent, the advertising. We've had bake sales but have now gone to more of a concession stand. There is no admission to the general public. We have a table with Relay Info, hand outs from the ACS. My team members wear Relay shirts from the past so that we can be easily picked out if someone needs assistance.

The second event is new this year and will be held 26-Apr. We are having a style show and auction. At a local church, we have 15 large round tables with 8 places. Each table will be decorated by a friend or family member to remember or honor a cancer patient. For instance, I received my grandmother's china when she passed away. I will have a table in her memory with the dishes that are currently packed away. The centerpiece - a tea pot and accessories for a tea party - will be auctioned off while the models are changing. The models are mother/daughter pairs with a tie to cancer. Light snack will be provided. Tickets are on sale at the clothing store providing the fashions and also Curves. The numbers are small (120) this first year, but I was also a style show this fall where we were packed in so tight, we were sitting elbow to elbow.

Fundraisers

There is a team in our relay that is doing the yard ornaments as a fundraiser. They are using pinwheels and windsocks. The pinwheels cover the yard of the home/business where they have been put. and the winsocks are hung on the trees or bushes in the yard. you have to pay to have them removed from your yard, and have them put in someone elses. They also have a sign that says proceeds benefit relay for life.

Seasonal Fundraiser

Hi

For Easter you could have a Easter Party/Carnival for children & families.

  • Sell refreshments. Get your refreshments donated or have them underwritten by a sponsor.
  • Have a Easter Egg Hunt. you can fill plastic eggs will small candies, small toys, coins etc. Be sure to include a cancer fact or cancer prevention tip. Charge a fee for participation.
  • Play games: Pin the tail on the bunny, instead of a duck pond have a Easter egg pond, have a cake walk, have a Easter egg roll, etc etc etc Get you prizes donated. Charge a fee to play the games.
  • Have a cookie decorating station. Get pre-baked sugar cookies, colored sprinkle & colored frosings donated. Charge to decorate a cookie.
  • Have a Easter basket raffel. Get your items donated.
  • Get a very large solid chocolate bunny donated and auction it off.
  • Have the Easter Bunny there and charge for pictures with him.

Have your event information available. Remind people that this is a FUNraiser and they sould come ready to spend money that will be donated to a great cause. Most of all have FUNSmile

My plan is to have a old fashioned mother/daughter tea party & luncheon around mothers day. We will have a guest speaker to talk about the history of tea parties & a basket auction + door prizes. We will get as much donated as possible and we will charge admission.
