I am a new RFl captain this year. I took over for a very well established gal, and I'm struggling a bit step into her shoes. We get several item donated to our team throughout the year and normally a silent auction was held in our clinic. This year the doctors have decided they don't want the auction held onsite, so my idea was to ebay the items instead.
Has anyone else used ebay for fundraising and if so have you used the "giving works" charity feature for your listings. I currently have a beautiful stained glass piece of artwork one of our patients daughters made. I would love to put it on auction but I need to decide the best way to do that. Any help would be great.

Ebay fundraising

Ebay can be a way to raise funds, and some folks do it...   Have you considered an online auction instead?  You could send out the items on email to your commitee and teams, and try to raise money in that way...  That way you don't pay a fee to anyone.

If you email me at rflvolunteer@gmail.com I can give you some more ideas.
