Our ACS Community Representative, Sting, just emailed me the grand total for our Relay as it has hit 270,000.00 dollars and might go a bit higher. Really, it just might go higher! He has been mentioning "post" Relay fundraising. Now, that is a whole new concept to me.

My community's Relay was this weekend, an amazing experience, and I look forward to sharing a few of the "WOW" moments with you, but right now, this minute, I don't feel “WOW”.

I'm amazed at the determination the "Relayers" of Second Life have to making these last 35 days of fundraising as fun and productive as possible. One would never be able to tell they have been relaying since March. *nodding head in appreciation They are pumped up, walking the walk, and talking the talk. The Second Life Relayers are on the GO! And they seemed driven to find new ways to draw people to their fundraising events. Take a sec and come check it. We would love to have ya! I know I for one, am so proud to be part of their Relay community. GO RELAY! FIGHT BACK RELAYERS!

I was talking to a friend the other day that is always in my peripheral vision but never in the direct line of sight. Wonderful person; friendly, compassionate, always has time to listen but a non-Relayer who at the start of relay had stepped in, without a word, and shouldered my responsibilities in a project.
