Need a timeline for the projects, all need to be completed by January 9th.  I need a detailed timeline of each project, when they will be worked on and completed. 

To Include:

Kiosks, Vendors (multi item), garage sale vendors, as well as silent auction kiosks.   I will have the kiosk itself created in the next couple of weeks, while you guys are working on scripting. 

Server?  Is it set up how it needs to be?

Second Life's Relay For Life Team Members, Planning Committee, and Supporters stepped up to the call to fight cancer with a tenacious determination to do their best and that is exactly what they did.   Their relay, Relay For Life of Second Life, the world's only virtual relay, raised over 270,000.00 USD.  That's a great fight!

Our ACS Community Representative, Sting, just emailed me the grand total for our Relay as it has hit 270,000.00 dollars and might go a bit higher.  Really, it just might go higher!  He has been mentioning "post" Relay fundraising.  Now, that is a whole new concept to me.

Nope! Not planning on describing any scenes from a movie. Just looking for the right word to define what I'm feeling right now.   My community's  Relay was this weekend, an amazing experience, and I look forward to sharing a few of the "WOW" moments with you, but right now, this minute, I don't feel “WOW”.

Some people actually think that walking a Relay for 24 hours is un - important?  OMG!  UN-IMPORTANT!  Could they be more wrong?

 I'm amazed at the determination the "Relayers" of Second Life have to making these last 35 days of fundraising as fun and productive as possible.  One would never be able to tell they have been relaying since March.  *nodding head in appreciation  They are pumped up, walking the walk, and talking the talk.  The Second Life Relayers are on the GO! And they seemed driven to find new ways to draw people to their fundraising events.   Take a sec and come check it.  We would love to have ya!  I know I for one, am so proud to be part of their Relay community.  GO RELAY!  FIGHT BACK RELAYERS!

to quote my friend and co-Event Chair Belle Loll.  I intended to hit the highlights of the weekend now  but there was so many exciting  activities I could never do them all justice and I would hate to leave one out, as all are certainly note worthy.  So I am asking for a representative from each team that fundraised this weekend to hit comments below and tell us of your event, maybe even add why YOU Relay.  We really want to know - what went on, roughly what you raised, and why you Relay.  Come on now! No shyness please, this is Relay we are talking about!

I was talking to a friend the other day that is always in my peripheral vision but never in the direct line of sight.  Wonderful person; friendly, compassionate, always has time to listen but a non-Relayer who at the start of relay had  stepped in, without a word, and shouldered my responsibilities in a project.  Great person!  We  had reached a point in the conversation where I was thanking them for taking on my responsibilities and expressing my Relay created reasons for not doing them myself, when I said "I am so sorry you don't Relay ...
