Our group has never done any on site sales at the relay. One gal this year is planning on doing a knot blanket raffle and I know how to knit. Scarves are fairly quick so I thought maybe I could knit a bunch of fun scarves and see if they would go, a friend of mine also knows how to knit some neat purses, I have one I use for a lunch sac for work. I thought that this could be a possibility as well.
I have a few fears. One, that scarves are fairly common, especially the fluffy ones that people have all over. Two, that people won't buy them because of the hot weather, and three the cost involved in the purses is around $20.00 for just the yarn. The other stuff isn't as bad.
A few other ideas I had that are too late to do this late in the season- our relay is Aug 8th. Were scrapbooking pages, I have access to purchase supplies at cost. Or also a cookbook made by the people who are participating in the relay. Either just our group for the first year or to include anyone who wants to submit recipes. Our relay is in MN and those "hometown" type cookbooks go over very well.
If you have any suggestions or fool proof fundraisers it would be much appreciated.

Hope all of your events are successes!
