I want to say thank you to our tri-chairs Candy, Teresa & John. They worked so hard to make Santa Clarita's 10th anniversary of Relay For Life one of the best. May 31st drew the most people coming to our Relay ever. Many were first timers and the comments we heard back was "How do we get involve next year?" and "I never knew you had this great event. I can't wait for next year".

I want to say thank you to all the committee members. You worked so hard to make this one of the best Relay's to date. The amount of time, blood, sweat and tears you contribute to this event paid off in a big way. I am so honored and thankful to have worked with the best committee. 

We went over all of our goals this year from # of survivors to # of teams. We finally broke the $500,00+ goal we set for ourselves the past 3 years.

Most importantly, if 1 person with cancer was able to walk away from this event with new knowledge about the American Cancer Society that would help them then it was worth it.
