im making a video about our day at relay for my friend and i was woundering if anyone of you would know what songs they played during the survivors lap and the care givers lap but im not sure if they play different songs at different relays but i was at the long beach NY one. your feedback is much appericiated.
We used "Beautiful Day" from U2, "I'm Alive" by Celine Dion and "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne for Survivor Lap, and "Say" by John Mayer, "Now Comes the Night" by Rob Thomas and "Held" by Natalie Grant for Luminaria, all songs that were amazing and we got a lot of compliments on our song selection from Relayers.
For the Survivor Lap we are playing the theme song from RENT. When the survivors get half way around the track, the caregivers will start walking in the opposite direction. When they meet, the caregivers will finish the lap with them to the song from WICKED, "For Good". Otherwise, there are a lot of great songs on the Relay For Life CD, Celebration. Good Luck!
