Hi! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me.

My 15 yo son has a team this year for our local Relay. It is his Eagle Scout Project. I would like to be able to use the internet to raise funds for his team from my various blog sites and groups that I belong to.

How do you get started? He already has a team formed. I just need the info for doing it online.

Thanks

Janet

Online fundraising

Janet, Patrick has registered for the Boyle County Relay and has a team page and a personal page (click here to go to it) set up. If he signed up online, he should have selected a username and password to sign into the site. If he doesn't know his username, he'll have to contact the ACS Staff partner or Relay Online Chair for Boyle County; sorry, I couldn't find contact info not on the site.

Once you sign in to the Event, a "Participant Center" link appears right below the "Sign Out?" button. One of the Participant Center tabs is for Webpage customization; as Team Captain, Patrick can edit the team page too. All fairly inituitive, including the ability to launch an email campaign.

There are great resource here (on RelayForLife.org) to explain it all. Click on "Relay Resources" on the top nav above and then, "Relay Online for Teams". Well-presented videos on using the Participant Center...

When Patrick launches his email campaign, make sure he includes rickbodson@charter.net on his target list.
