This was my second year as Accounting Chair with Online Chair added to my duties this year. Last year, our relay was very small and it wasn't so bad. This year, it burst wide open and we had more teams, participants and monies raised. All good problems to have but I was not prepared for Bank Nights. Can someone detail (and I do mean detail) how Bank Night is handled for your Relay?
Bank Night can be very overwhelming when you have so many teams. Our treasurer enlisted a bank to come in a count and register money.
We started our teams off at the front door by checking off a list to make sure we had there registration forms and any other items for team development. They then handed all their money in and then proceeded to pick up their T-shirts. We took the money to the "Bank" (a row of tables for the money counters) and they counted and verifyed. The teams then check out for the evening at the back door. They have a list of names verifying the county was okay or if there were any questions.

Thanks so much for your reply. I understood everything except the sentence above. Did you mean 'counting was okay'?
Did you have different 'tellers' for Luminaria? Our Relay requires we keep Luminiaria monies seperate.
Thanks again. I tried to get back yesterday, but the system was down.
