Wayne County, NC has a unique way of having Corporate Sponsors. In 2006 we raised $636,252.00 and had 491 Corporate Sponsors.

The way we have so many Corporate Sponsors is really simple. We have 5 levels of sponsorship. Bronze $300 -$499, Silver $500 - $999, Gold $1000 - $2499, Purple $2500 - $4999, and Premier $5000+. With all these different levels we have all types of groups of people as Corporate Sponsors, from individuals, school classes to Sunday School classes, Churches, Civic Groups, Volunteer Fire Departments, Medical facilities and Doctors, to very large companies.

We started the minimum level at $300 because our local newspaper (The Goldsboro News Argus) will publish a picture and description of the donation at no charge. Other benefits include: Name on our t-shirt, recieve a t-shirt, name on a sign around the walking track, an invitation to the Kick-off Banquet, and best of all being a part of the largest fund raising efforts of our community and the satifaction of participating in the fight to conquer cancer.
