Hard to believe this is my 3rd Relay.  The first I dedicated to my mom who lost her battle to cancer 9 years prior.  My second year I had dedicated it to my Sister in law Janet Huthansel who had died only weeks before the event.  And this year I am dedicating this to my Uncle Doug who it currently in the battle.  Fight On, Fight On!

I remember my mother talking about her cancer and how she explained it as " it was somthing that just came overnight and took hold of her life"  One day it was just there...

A few month ago I decided to take steps to see if I were carring  the gene that carried the brest/overian mutation.  The BROCA and I happy to say I do not carry that gene.  My Daughter Dilynn who is 16years sold will also have this test done but we will wait till she is 18.  Googel it  BROCA test, it intresting. Sad to say in the Boelhouwer side of my family we have had brest, overian, colon, prostate.

Well I wish all the best for all of you, I pray for all you who are in the battle, and I feel for all of you who have lost a loveone to cancer.
