Welcome to HTML tags

Lisa, you've figured it out. "&amp" is the HTML representation of the ampersand ("&"). Since & is a reserved chartacter in programming, HTML editors see it and capture it as a tag beginning with, ironically, &. If a team registeres as Acme Mfg "Relayers", you may see them on some reports as Acme Mfg &quot Relayers &quot.

If you download a list to Excel, simply do a universal replace of "&amp" with "&". Also, a lesson learned in Coaching emails. If your HTML version of an email has words such as We're Figthting Back, or Sign up & Send, you'll need to carefully edit the plain text version to take out the HTML representations.

Way more of an explanation than you bargained for, huh?

Have a great Relay in NJ.
