Welcome to my blog on the National Non Corporate Team Program! Since this branch of the National Team Program is new, I hope to use this blog to answer any questions that you may have about the program.

A brief interview: The Non-Corporate Team Program mirrors the corporate program in many respects, including offering clubs, organizations and associations the opportunity to impact their community through participation in the worlds largest fundraiser, Relay For Life.  Through their involvment, members will be given the opportunity to volunteer, raise funds, and support cancer patients and survivors in their communities.

One way this program is different from the NCTP, is that most of these organizations will not have a "brick and mortar" building...they run their chapter meetings in restaurants, offices, etc.  We have given you, in each fact sheet, the best way to identify and contact your local chapters and members.  We have also included letter temmplates you can send to each chapter contact as a way of introduction.

For tracking purposes this Relay season, we have asked each of our COA's to use their organizations name in their team name; "Jaycees" PHIP" "Phi Beta Sigman" and "NFDA."  They should also put these names in the affiliation box when registering their team online or on the scannable form.

Documents supporting this program, such as fact sheets, are posted below. We also hope to have video web casts coming soon that will help in your team recruitment efforts. More to come on that!

Please take a look at these documents, and don't hesitate to let me know your thoughts. If you have ideas or comments to share, post a blog! I look forward to hearing from you!

Joyce
