We are trying to come up with ideas to honor the caregivers at the actual event. We have thought about have seperate shirts for them, but that could get to be a little expensive. Does anyone else honor caregivers at the event or have any ideas on how to?
We recognized our caregivers for the first time last year, and asked them to join our survivors for a caregivers lap. This year, we're taking that one step farther, and we're having some purple fans printed in the shape of a number one - with the wording "Caregivers are our #1 Fans" We ordered them from HandFans4Less.com, phone number 1-800-848-0076, contact is Justin. We're also looking for other inexpensive ways to recognize caregivers.

Caregivers
Hey There: Thought I would let you know that we have in the past two years, given the Caregivers a glow stick to carry around the traci following the Luminaria Ceremony. It is quite an impressive sight. Hope this helps.

Honoring caregivers
We purchased bookmarks with a poem & heart charm on them. They are inexpensive. Our ACS staff partner found them for us. We will also do a Caregivers lap following the Survivor's opening lap.
