We're doing a similar thing for our campsite.  Decorations will include a star-lined walk of fame leading to a stage with a Hollywood hills backdrop.  (I think we'll just paint the backdrop on a canvas drop cloth and stretch it between two canopy poles.)  Then we're going to host an "American Idol" style talent show on the stage with each team invited to participate.  We're going to have some props and a karaoke machine available.

For a team fundraiser, we're also considering hosting a "fantasy fun" party for kids.  There would be 5 or 6 different themed stations for the kids to choose from.  We will supply dress up clothes and an activity in keeping with the theme.  For example, a fashion show in the glamour girl theme or a superhero theme where they draw a new superhero and create his powers.  That could be a fun event at Relay if there are a lot of kids too.

Here are some food ideas - Red carpet roll ups (red tortilla rolled sandwiches), star shaped cookies or sandwiches, tuxedo brownies (just add Hershey hugs candy to the top of each brownie), classic movie theater snacks, serve punch in disposable champagne glasses.

Perhaps you could have the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of your campsite...have the survivors names in the stars.Perhaps have a script centered around cancer Act 1:Precautions to Combat Cancer- Act 2:Screening for Cancer -Act 3:Fighting Cancer...you could have a cardboard marquee/directors chair etc...
