This is my 1st year as the event chair & I need some help as far as how many songs should be chosen to play for the different laps/ceremonies? I have songs picked out but just not sure on the time frame of how long? Any suggestions would be great! THANKS Amy Williams
I'm in charge of the Survivor lap for the Fredonia RFL. I play four songs. This way if you have anyone in a wheelchair or if they need extra time they don't feel rushed. Luminary service i'm trying something new this year. I'm asking our announcer to read the in memory names first and then in honor, we will then go out on the track and I have two more upbeat songs to play then about 45 minutes of relaxing (spa) music. Hope this helps. Janice Fredonia co-chair

Songs
Hi, Amy! Congratulations on your first year as an event chair. My recommendation would be first to look at the guidelines in the Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back. guide to see the timeframe for each ceremony. After considering the rest of the ceremony, how much time is left for music. Some of the ceremonies lend themselves to more music than others. For example, if you have a lot of survivors at your survivor celebration, you may have to play a few songs while they go around the track. The CRFB guidebook has great song suggesstions, too. If you don't have a copy of this, you can find it right on this website in Relay Resources. If you have trouble finding it, please let me know. Amy, I wish your event lots of luck. Have tons of fun!
