Hi I am a twelve year old girl every year I do my own seperate fundraising things around town and at home and stuff but this year my target is somewhere different. My Junior high school. If you have ANY IDEAS AT ALL I would appreciate it if you gave me some suggestions as to how to fundraise in a school enviroment.

Go to your principal and ask if you can do a hat day to raise funds. Ask that people who want to wear a hat for the day in school, donate a dollar. That is something I am trying with the local schools here. Make it a fun day to get the kids involved. I am very proud of you for being so active. There are not a lot of kids today that will go out of their way to help others. Mind you, there are some, but kids today don't seem to have the values I had growing up, so when I meet kids like you...I want to say THANK YOU FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB!

I'm a teacher in a Middle School and our school has a Relay team. Our biggest fundraisers include selling "Hope" bracelets (you can buy them online at Relay Gear) and just collecting change during lunches and before/after school. We've found that once we start talking to people about cancer...everyone has a connection and is willing to give or help in some way.
Go to these 2 links,
They have funraisers and ideas just for youth catergories before the relay and during the Relay
Lots of good ideas there.

Scroll down towards the bottom on the above link to find ideas.
About page 22 in the link above you will find pages of ideas just for youth fundraising.
Congrats for all you do and have a great Relay!
